The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students and colleagues
- Support teaching staff and student learning in a variety of roles
- Work independently and as part of a team with professionalism and flexibility
- Reflect on and improve teaching practice through continuous professional development
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with relevant staff
- Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to the school’s overall mission
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in teaching or covering lessons in a secondary school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage behaviour and maintain discipline in the classroom
- Experience in delivering lesson content across multiple subjects
- Organised and able to work under pressure
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Preferred
- Experience in a school with a collaborative and innovative culture
- Familiarity with the key stages of secondary education (KS3 and KS4)
- Experience in working with students aged 11–16
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices
- Experience in a school with a strong focus on student personal development
