The Opportunity:

As a Creative Arts Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the School’s Art department and other creative arts areas. This is a chance to contribute to a dynamic, student-focused environment where creativity and safety are central to every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide practical and creative support in the School’s Art department and other creative arts departments.
  • Assist Class Teachers in delivering engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Ensure a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for students and staff.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of all students within the School.
  • Teach a small timetable of Art and/or Photography A Level.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver creative curriculum content.
  • Maintain and manage art resources, equipment, and facilities.
  • Support the School’s commitment to innovation and student achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in a creative arts or educational support role.
  • Strong practical and technical skills in art and design.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Experience working with students in a school setting.

Preferred

  • Teaching experience, particularly in Art or Photography.
  • Experience with A Level curriculum delivery.
  • Knowledge of art materials, tools, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and software.
  • Experience in a school with a progressive, student-centered approach.
