The Opportunity:
As a Creative Arts Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the School’s Art department and other creative arts areas. This is a chance to contribute to a dynamic, student-focused environment where creativity and safety are central to every interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide practical and creative support in the School’s Art department and other creative arts departments.
- Assist Class Teachers in delivering engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Ensure a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for students and staff.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of all students within the School.
- Teach a small timetable of Art and/or Photography A Level.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver creative curriculum content.
- Maintain and manage art resources, equipment, and facilities.
- Support the School’s commitment to innovation and student achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in a creative arts or educational support role.
- Strong practical and technical skills in art and design.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- Experience working with students in a school setting.
Preferred
- Teaching experience, particularly in Art or Photography.
- Experience with A Level curriculum delivery.
- Knowledge of art materials, tools, and techniques.
- Familiarity with educational technology and software.
- Experience in a school with a progressive, student-centered approach.
