Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Criminology across the school, ensuring continuity, progression, and high-quality delivery.
• Monitor pupil progress, set ambitious targets, and use data effectively to drive improvement.
• Provide constructive feedback, support colleagues, and lead professional development.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and respectful learning environment rooted in mutual respect.
• Promote literacy, high standards of behaviour, and independent learning.
• Participate fully in the life of the school, including duties, assemblies, parent communication, and meetings.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children at all times.
• Ensure the Criminology curriculum is cohesive, progressive, inclusive, and engaging.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Outstanding classroom practice with a strong understanding of how students learn.
• Experience or ambition in subject leadership, curriculum design, or coordination.
• High expectations for behaviour, progress, and achievement.
• Strong knowledge of Criminology and enthusiasm to stay current with developments in the field.
