Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across all key stages, up to A Level.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student engagement and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental development.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that support student learning and development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
- Support the school’s commitment to pastoral care and student well-being.
- Stay current with developments in Maths education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Maths experience.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics up to A Level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take on additional responsibilities.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.
Preferred
- Experience teaching in a non-selective school setting.
- Familiarity with the UK curriculum and assessment systems.
- Experience with teaching students with diverse learning needs.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
