Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across all key stages, up to A Level.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student engagement and achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental development.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that support student learning and development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
  • Support the school’s commitment to pastoral care and student well-being.
  • Stay current with developments in Maths education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant Maths experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics up to A Level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and take on additional responsibilities.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching in a non-selective school setting.
  • Familiarity with the UK curriculum and assessment systems.
  • Experience with teaching students with diverse learning needs.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
