Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Art lessons to students up to A Level, ensuring a stimulating and engaging learning experience.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that fosters creativity, technical skill, and critical thinking.
  • Provide individualised support and feedback to students to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school to enhance teaching and learning practices.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the broader life of the school.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment outcomes.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Art education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
  • Support the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Art or a related field.
  • Teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High energy levels and a passion for teaching and inspiring students.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Art up to A Level.
  • Familiarity with the UK education system and curriculum requirements.
  • Experience with digital tools and resources for teaching Art.
  • Experience in a boarding or day school environment.
