Curriculum Leader STEM to shape and deliver high-quality provision across BTEC, T-Levels, and higher education pathways.

The Opportunity:

As a Curriculum Leader STEM, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality provision across a range of educational pathways. This includes BTEC, T-Levels, Access to HE Diplomas, and higher education courses. You will lead curriculum development and ensure that teaching, learning, and assessment meet the needs of diverse learners and local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of both accredited and non-accredited courses.
  • Ensure a coherent, inclusive, and responsive curriculum that supports learner success and progression.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and learner experience enhancement.
  • Support learners in achieving their goals and progressing into further study or employment.
  • Design and adapt programmes to meet the needs of learners, employers, and the wider community.
  • Work strategically to respond to change and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Promote inclusion, lifelong learning, and social justice within the curriculum and across the institution.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong subject expertise in STEM and experience in Further Education or adult learning environments.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Experience in curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners and colleagues.
  • Highly organised and proactive with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Preferred

  • Experience with BTEC, T-Levels, Access to HE Diplomas, or higher education pathways.
  • Background in education, health, or social care-related provision.
  • Interest in innovative and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Experience in supporting diverse learners to succeed.
