The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced History and Politics Teacher to join our dynamic Humanities Faculty. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on students' learning and contribute to a vibrant, inclusive school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality History and Politics lessons to students from KS3 to A level.
- Support student progress through individualised teaching and pastoral involvement.
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum and the wider school community.
- Engage students with innovative and inspiring teaching methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience across the Humanities Faculty.
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and assessments of student performance.
- Support extracurricular activities related to History and Politics.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in History and Politics.
- Experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and A level.
- Commitment to student progress and pastoral care.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Politics at A level.
- Ability to teach other KS3 Humanities subjects.
- Experience working in an inclusive and supportive school environment.
- ECTs or experienced teachers looking for a new opportunity.
