The Opportunity:
As a Curriculum Manager in Beauty, you will play a key role in shaping high-quality, industry-relevant education that supports student success and prepares them for careers in the beauty sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement up-to-date, industry-relevant curriculum content in the beauty sector.
- Support continuous improvement in teaching and learning standards, student retention, and achievement.
- Conduct classroom observations of full and part-time staff to ensure quality delivery.
- Manage the appraisal and line management of part-time and fractional staff.
- Collaborate with industry professionals to ensure curriculum alignment with current industry practices.
- Liaise with employers to ensure program relevance and student employability.
- Ensure all activities align with the school's quality systems and frameworks.
- Contribute to the management of substantial programs relevant to the curriculum area.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Degree or equivalent level qualification in a related subject.
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching across a range of programs.
- Experience in liaising with employers and managing substantial programs relevant to the curriculum area for at least 2 years.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and management within the beauty industry.
- Familiarity with current trends and innovations in the beauty sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in working within a further education or higher education setting.
