The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement up-to-date, industry-relevant curriculum content in the beauty sector.
• Support continuous improvement in teaching and learning standards, student retention, and achievement.
• Conduct classroom observations of full and part-time staff to ensure quality delivery.
• Manage the appraisal and line management of part-time and fractional staff.
• Collaborate with industry professionals to ensure curriculum alignment with current industry practices.
• Liaise with employers to ensure program relevance and student employability.
• Ensure all activities align with the school's quality systems and frameworks.
• Contribute to the management of substantial programs relevant to the curriculum area.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Degree or equivalent level qualification in a related subject.
• A recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience in teaching across a range of programs.
• Experience in liaising with employers and managing substantial programs relevant to the curriculum area for at least 2 years.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.

Preferred

• Experience in curriculum development and management within the beauty industry.
• Familiarity with current trends and innovations in the beauty sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in working within a further education or higher education setting.
