Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching across a range of engineering programs.
  • Provide tutorial and pastoral support to students, ensuring their academic and personal development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and performance.
  • Plan and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching methods and course content.
  • Contribute to the marketing and recruitment activities of the institution, including student admissions.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of innovative learning strategies.
  • Support the continued professional development of students and colleagues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified to level 3 or above in a relevant engineering qualification.
  • Willingness to obtain a recognised teaching qualification within two years of appointment.
  • Experience in delivering education and training in a relevant field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in higher education or further education settings.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and developments in engineering.
  • Experience with student recruitment and admissions processes.
  • Knowledge of innovative teaching and learning strategies.
