The Opportunity:

As a Curriculum Manager, you will play a key role in driving quality teaching, learning, and assessment across the school. You will lead and support staff, ensure high standards of education, and contribute to the strategic direction of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support 5 teachers and an Employment Specialist, including sickness, holiday, and check-ins.
• Mentor and support trainee teachers to help them achieve accreditations and become outstanding educators.
• Conduct quality monitoring and improvement through teaching observations and moderation processes.
• Assist in gathering data for the college self-assessment report (SAR) and quality improvement plan (QIP).
• Contribute to leadership team meetings and support the development and implementation of the school's strategic plan.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in curriculum management and leadership.
• QTLS qualification is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of autism and special educational needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.

Preferred

• Experience in quality assurance and monitoring.
• Background in education leadership or senior management.
• Experience with teaching and learning strategies tailored to autistic learners.
• Familiarity with Ofsted standards and inspection processes.
