Finance and Exams Administrator needed for a school with a focus on education for young people with autism.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated Finance and Exams Administrator to support the smooth operation of financial and examination processes. This role is essential in ensuring the school maintains compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in both financial management and examination administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the raising and processing of purchase orders using the Aspire purchasing system.
- Oversee the management and reconciliation of petty cash according to established policy.
- Generate reports on purchasing costs and analyse data for insights.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and ensure purchase order numbers are included before sending to Accounts Payable.
- Receipt goods upon delivery and address any discrepancies or returns.
- File all financial documents, including invoices and petty cash records, in an organised and secure manner.
- Administer colleague expense claims and Ex-Gratia claims, ensuring timely submission to Treasury.
- Support the smooth running of examinations by working closely with the Exams Officer and Head of Centre.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in financial administration or a related field.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of examination regulations and procedures.
Preferred
- Experience with educational institutions or schools.
- Familiarity with JCQ General Regulations and Instructions for Conducting Examinations.
- Experience with financial systems or software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
