The Opportunity:

As a Data Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality data management and reporting services across the school. You will oversee databases, data warehousing, and data pools, while leading projects that support the school’s communication and development strategies through advanced data tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain MS SQL databases, ensuring accurate and secure data handling.
  • Develop and publish complex reports using SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI.
  • Support the enhancement and integration of the school’s main MIS system (iSAMS) and e-learning platform (Firefly).
  • Oversee data warehousing, data pools, and server management to ensure efficient data operations.
  • Implement and monitor data quality processes to maintain accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver data-driven improvements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users across the school.
  • Manage and lead data-related projects from planning to implementation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in managing SQL databases and creating SSRS reports.
  • Strong skills in developing Power BI dashboards and manipulating data.
  • Experience with data warehousing, data pools, and server management.
  • Ability to deliver complex data projects with attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience with the iSAMS MIS system and Firefly e-learning platform.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.
  • Experience in a school or educational environment.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.
