Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the Head of School in the strategic development and delivery of academic and pastoral programs.
- Oversee the management of the Secondary School, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student welfare.
- Develop and implement policies and initiatives that align with the school’s mission, values, and educational goals.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive school culture, working closely with staff, students, and parents.
- Monitor and evaluate academic performance, ensuring continuous improvement and student success.
- Support the professional development of teaching and support staff.
- Represent the school at internal and external events, promoting its vision and achievements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant educational and safeguarding standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a senior educational role, preferably within an international school setting.
- Strong academic background and understanding of secondary education, including curriculum development and assessment.
- Experience in pastoral care and student welfare, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and parents.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a large and diverse student body, with an understanding of multicultural education.
- Familiarity with the IB Diploma Programme and other international curricula.
- Experience in school governance or strategic planning.
- Fluency in a second language, particularly Mandarin, is an advantage.
