Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the development and implementation of the school’s IT strategy.
  • Manage and oversee IT operations, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and up to date.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT initiatives with the school’s educational goals.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff and students across the school.
  • Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity standards.
  • Support the integration of digital tools and platforms to improve academic outcomes.
  • Work closely with external vendors and service providers to maintain IT infrastructure.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in IT leadership within an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies and their application in education.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage IT teams and deliver complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading IT departments in a school or similar organization.
  • Familiarity with EdTech tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of Apple Distinguished School initiatives and digital innovation.
  • Experience with wellbeing and student support systems.
