Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students and maintain a safe, positive learning environment during cover periods
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members
  • Ensure that all school policies and procedures are followed consistently
  • Provide care and guidance to students in line with the school’s pastoral ethos
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
  • Contribute to the school’s co-curricular and pastoral activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring and supportive approach to working with young people
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Experience in a school or educational setting
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred

  • Experience in a boarding school environment
  • Knowledge of pastoral care and student support
  • Experience with teaching or learning support
  • Familiarity with school systems and processes
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude
