The Opportunity:

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a state-of-the-art Engineering and Design Centre, supporting the school's thriving STEM specialism and providing students with access to world-class learning facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of a dynamic and challenging Design and Technology curriculum across Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of resources and equipment to enhance student learning experiences.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and students to ensure a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
- Maintain and manage the Engineering and Design Centre, ensuring it is a hub of innovation and creativity.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities and STEM-related events.
- Support students in developing practical and technical skills through hands-on learning experiences.
- Ensure the effective use of technology and facilities to enhance the learning outcomes of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in a Design and Technology or Engineering role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering a range of Design and Technology qualifications.
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme.
- Knowledge of modern engineering and design technologies.
- Experience in supporting the development of STEM specialisms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
