The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage teaching resources and materials for Design and Technology lessons.
• Maintain and service a wide range of equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and vacuum formers.
• Assist teaching staff during lessons to ensure the safe and effective use of tools and machinery.
• Manage stock control and ensure all materials are available for lessons and projects.
• Support the development and delivery of practical and theoretical lessons.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all workshop areas.
• Collaborate with department staff to enhance the learning experience for students.
• Keep detailed records of equipment usage and maintenance schedules.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant experience in a technical or engineering role.
• Practical knowledge of workshop tools and machinery.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A solid understanding of health and safety procedures in a school setting.
