The Opportunity:

As an IT Support Technician, you will provide essential IT support to staff and ensure the smooth operation of the school’s IT systems. This role is critical to the school’s ability to deliver high-quality education and support a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, and the ticketing system
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Set up and configure laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
• Assist with user account management and password resets
• Collaborate with the IT team to maintain and improve IT infrastructure
• Provide excellent customer service to staff and students
• Support technical events and initiatives as required
• Keep detailed records of all IT support activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Strong technical competence with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with networking concepts such as Wi-Fi and LAN
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in IT support or a related field

Preferred

• Experience with ticketing systems and IT helpdesk software
• Knowledge of IT security best practices
• Previous experience in an educational environment
• Familiarity with mobile device management and cloud technologies
