The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic IT and Maths Teacher to inspire students aged 5–19 with a focus on those with autism and SEMH/SEND needs. This role offers the chance to bring IT to life through project-based learning and support students in developing vocational pathways and life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging IT and Maths lessons using practical, project-based approaches.
- Support students with autism and SEMH/SEND needs through trauma-informed and relational teaching methods.
- Work with the Quality of Education team to develop accessible and effective lesson plans.
- Help students progress towards vocational qualifications such as BTEC or other accreditation pathways.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership team to evaluate the impact of IT and Maths teaching.
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners across different pathways.
- Model professional standards and maintain a calm, purposeful classroom environment.
- Participate in enrichment activities and digital projects that enhance student learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in teaching IT, Computing, and related subjects.
- Strong knowledge of digital tools and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to plan and deliver lessons for a wide range of abilities.
- Commitment to supporting students with autism, SEMH, and SEND needs.
- Collaborative and creative approach to inclusive education.
Preferred
- Experience with vocational qualifications such as BTEC or iMedia.
- Background in developing e-sports or coding-based learning activities.
- Experience in creating enrichment programs or digital learning projects.
Compensation & Benefits:
