The Opportunity:

As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in promoting a school’s brand and engaging with families worldwide. This is an opportunity to contribute to impactful marketing campaigns and support the school’s mission through digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing team in campaign planning, creative input, and delivery.
  • Manage day-to-day organic social media content across multiple platforms.
  • Respond to and engage with social media accounts and email enquiries.
  • Build and circulate the termly digital newsletter with content from internal teams.
  • Update directory listings and refine content to align with brand voice.
  • Add press releases to the school’s website and other platforms.
  • Maintain and refresh content across all school websites with cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Optimize blog articles for SEO to drive traffic to the website.
  • Manage stock control of branded merchandise for Admissions and Experience teams.
  • Support the Admissions team in preparation for events and promotions.
  • Stay current with emerging digital trends and provide insights to the team.
  • Assist with photography and videography shoots for marketing purposes.
  • Provide administrative support, including managing the Marketing Team inbox and updating mailing lists.
  • Manage the website chatbot and escalate relevant inquiries as needed.
  • Ensure press materials are stocked and up to date in designated areas.
  • Order relevant press publications and maintain a professional appearance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Experience using social media in a professional context.
  • Experience in the creation and management of website content.
  • Experience in using video editing software.

Preferred

  • At least three years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
  • Experience in the education sector.
  • Experience of agency management.
  • Practical working knowledge of design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva).
  • Proven experience in delivering engaging PR content.
  • Experience of using a content management system.
  • Experience of using an email service provider.
  • Experience of project and campaign management.
  • Experience of managing a budget.
