The Opportunity:

As the Digital Marketing Director on maternity cover, you will lead and shape the school’s digital marketing strategy, driving engagement and visibility across multiple platforms. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the school’s brand presence and support its mission of excellence in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of Admissions and Marketing in strategic planning and delivery of marketing initiatives
  • Manage and optimise the relationship with the PPC agency to ensure campaign performance
  • Lead and oversee the development of digital campaigns, from concept to execution
  • Manage and schedule social media content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, BlueSky, and YouTube
  • Create engaging video content using platforms such as CapCut
  • Track and report on digital performance against KPIs, making data-driven recommendations
  • Oversee the maintenance and updating of the school’s website content
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the marketing budget
  • Brief and collaborate with the Graphic Designer to produce high-quality digital assets
  • Research and analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies
  • Attend and support events, including Open Days and the Royal Lancashire Show

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in digital marketing and campaign management
  • Strong understanding of SEO and digital strategy
  • Experience with social media management platforms such as Sprout Social
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and deliver cost-effective marketing plans
  • Experience in content creation, including video and social media content
  • Familiarity with market research and data analysis techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred

  • Experience with international marketing channels such as WeChat
  • Familiarity with brand guardianship and marketing best practices
  • Experience in a school or education sector setting
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools
  • Experience in managing a small team or department
