The Opportunity:
As the Digital Marketing Director on maternity cover, you will lead and shape the school’s digital marketing strategy, driving engagement and visibility across multiple platforms. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the school’s brand presence and support its mission of excellence in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Admissions and Marketing in strategic planning and delivery of marketing initiatives
- Manage and optimise the relationship with the PPC agency to ensure campaign performance
- Lead and oversee the development of digital campaigns, from concept to execution
- Manage and schedule social media content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, BlueSky, and YouTube
- Create engaging video content using platforms such as CapCut
- Track and report on digital performance against KPIs, making data-driven recommendations
- Oversee the maintenance and updating of the school’s website content
- Manage the day-to-day administration of the marketing budget
- Brief and collaborate with the Graphic Designer to produce high-quality digital assets
- Research and analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies
- Attend and support events, including Open Days and the Royal Lancashire Show
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in digital marketing and campaign management
- Strong understanding of SEO and digital strategy
- Experience with social media management platforms such as Sprout Social
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage budgets and deliver cost-effective marketing plans
- Experience in content creation, including video and social media content
- Familiarity with market research and data analysis techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred
- Experience with international marketing channels such as WeChat
- Familiarity with brand guardianship and marketing best practices
- Experience in a school or education sector setting
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools
- Experience in managing a small team or department
