The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Digital Media to a diverse range of students.
  • Support the development of students’ skills in digital media production, including editing, filming, and photography.
  • Collaborate with departmental colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching outcomes.
  • Engage students in extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Participate in professional development, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of departmental events and student support activities.
  • Maintain and manage departmental facilities and equipment, ensuring they are used effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong knowledge of digital media production and related technologies.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality education and student success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to support student pastoral needs and wellbeing.

Preferred

  • Relevant teaching qualification or experience in digital media or related fields.
  • Experience with A Level Media or Cambridge Technical qualifications.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Suite and industry-standard software.
  • Experience in developing and delivering extracurricular activities.
  • Previous experience in a college or Sixth Form setting.
