The Opportunity:
A Computing Teacher is needed to contribute to a modern, innovative curriculum and drive digital innovation across the school. This role offers the chance to shape teaching and learning in a forward-thinking department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality computing lessons that inspire and engage students
- Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum in line with the school’s vision
- Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes and exam success
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department
- Provide structured support for ECTs and trainees where applicable
- Stay up to date with developments in computing and digital innovation
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment that reflects the school’s values
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in computing or related subjects
- Strong subject knowledge in computing, with the ability to teach Computer Science, Creative iMedia and/or Business Studies
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to student success and high academic standards
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation
- Background in teaching Creative iMedia or Business Studies
- Familiarity with digital technologies and modern teaching practices
- Experience with ECT support or trainee mentorship
