The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality computing lessons that inspire and engage students
  • Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum in line with the school’s vision
  • Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes and exam success
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department
  • Provide structured support for ECTs and trainees where applicable
  • Stay up to date with developments in computing and digital innovation
  • Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment that reflects the school’s values
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in computing or related subjects
  • Strong subject knowledge in computing, with the ability to teach Computer Science, Creative iMedia and/or Business Studies
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to student success and high academic standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred

  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation
  • Background in teaching Creative iMedia or Business Studies
  • Familiarity with digital technologies and modern teaching practices
  • Experience with ECT support or trainee mentorship
