The Opportunity:
As the Director of Creatives, you will lead and inspire a team of educators to deliver high-quality, innovative learning experiences. This role is central to shaping the school’s creative curriculum and supporting student development beyond the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of creative educators to deliver outstanding learning experiences.
- Design and implement a curriculum that fosters creativity, innovation, and student engagement.
- Support staff development and leadership opportunities across the school.
- Promote a culture of aspiration and respect within the school community.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate creative learning across the curriculum.
- Ensure that all students have access to opportunities that develop their character and resilience.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of creative learning initiatives on student progress.
- Represent the school at external events and engage with the wider community.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in teaching and leadership within an educational setting.
- A record of outstanding classroom practice and a commitment to student progress.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in developing and leading teams.
- A dedication to fostering a culture of respect and innovation.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and creative learning.
- Background in student welfare and character development.
- Familiarity with Ofsted standards and school improvement initiatives.
- Experience with leadership training and professional development.
