Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the performing arts curriculum across GCSE and A Level.
• Provide inspirational leadership to Heads of Drama, Music, and Dance.
• Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high-quality teaching practice.
• Ensure alignment with the school’s core values and educational philosophy.
• Deliver outstanding learning and teaching experiences for students.
• Support the integration of technology and blended learning in the performing arts.
• Engage with the wider school community through extra-curricular and community-based events.
• Maintain and enhance the school’s reputation for excellence in performing arts education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor's degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent.
• Proven experience in teaching Performing Arts in a leadership role at GCSE and A Level.
• Strong evidence-based teaching pedagogy and a commitment to student wellbeing.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
• Familiarity with the KHDA Framework.

Preferred

• Experience in leading a performing arts department in an international school setting.
• Background in developing innovative and inclusive arts programs.
• Experience with blended learning and technology integration in the classroom.
