The Opportunity:

As the Director of Sixth Form Colleges Consortium, you will lead a respected network of colleges and drive system-wide improvement through collaboration. This is a unique leadership role for an experienced senior leader who thrives on partnership working and collective improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the Consortium’s strategic work to support member colleges
  • Design and deliver impactful professional development programmes for staff
  • Work closely with Principals to drive improvement and innovation across member colleges
  • Champion a culture of trust, collaboration, and shared learning
  • Support the development of shared practice and innovation across the network
  • Coordinate and manage the Consortium’s operations and strategic goals
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote the Consortium’s mission and values
  • Ensure the Consortium remains at the forefront of education excellence and innovation

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in senior leadership within education
  • Strong strategic and collaborative leadership skills
  • Experience in leading and managing professional development initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to drive system-wide improvement and innovation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred

  • Experience working within a consortium or collaborative network
  • Background in sixth form or further education
  • Experience in curriculum development and delivery
  • Familiarity with Ofsted standards and educational excellence
