The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Estates and Facilities Assistant to join a dynamic team and contribute to the efficient operation of the school’s facilities. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff. The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting the school’s mission to provide an exceptional educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Estates and Facilities team in delivering high standards of maintenance and service.
- Assist with the closing of premises and ensure security protocols are followed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across all school areas.
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and visitors.
- Assist with general administrative tasks related to facilities management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide support during events and special occasions on campus.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of school buildings and equipment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Previous keyholding experience.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- A current driving licence.
- Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple tasks.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Preferred
- Experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with building maintenance and facilities management systems.
