The Opportunity:

As the Director of Sport, you will lead and inspire the school’s sports program, ensuring it aligns with the school’s mission of fostering student success both academically and personally. This is a key role in promoting a vibrant, active, and inclusive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sports program aligned with the school’s educational goals.
• Manage and coordinate sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate sports and physical education into the overall student experience.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, leadership, and healthy lifestyles among students.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students participating in sports activities.
• Work closely with parents and the wider school community to support student engagement and development.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sports initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
• Represent the school at external events and maintain strong relationships with local sports organizations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a school or educational institution.
• Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum and international education standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams.
• Commitment to student development and pastoral care.
• Experience in organizing and managing sports programs and events.

Preferred

• Experience in international education or working in a multicultural environment.
• Familiarity with the IB Diploma Programme or other international curricula.
• Background in coaching or sports management.
• Experience with extracurricular activities and student leadership programs.
