The Opportunity:
As a Secondary Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students, develop their analytical and problem-solving skills, and contribute to a dynamic, supportive learning community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, well-structured mathematics lessons in line with British curriculum standards.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student understanding and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment techniques.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development, and the creation of high-quality teaching resources.
- Support the academic and pastoral well-being of students, ensuring they meet the school’s high expectations.
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress and attainment.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and whole-school initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE / QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
- Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student wellbeing.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Mathematics up to A-Level.
- Background in AI-driven learning or technology-integrated teaching.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support programs.
- Familiarity with inter-school competitions and professional development opportunities.
