The Opportunity:

As a Secondary Science Teacher, you will deliver high-quality science education across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A-Level subjects. You will inspire students through inquiry-based learning and foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where all learners can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with British curriculum standards.
  • Model scientific inquiry, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills through creative teaching methods.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor and support student progress.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development, and the creation of high-quality teaching resources.
  • Support the academic and pastoral well-being of students, promoting the school's values and expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and next steps.
  • Participate in school events, professional development, and whole-school initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Fluent English speaker
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE / QTS (or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting
  • Strong classroom management and commitment to student wellbeing
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Science up to A-Level (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics)
  • Background in AI-driven learning or innovative teaching methods
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support
  • Previous involvement in inter-school competitions or professional development networks
