The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Drama and English to students across Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students.
  • Support students’ academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum planning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
  • Engage in extracurricular activities and enrichment programs.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
  • Experience teaching Drama and English at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with ECTs (Early Career Teachers) or mentoring.
  • Familiarity with Church of England values and ethos.
  • Experience in extracurricular activities or drama productions.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
