Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with specific learning difficulties and English as an additional language.
- Deliver high-quality, individualized learning support tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other support services to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to colleagues and parents.
- Contribute to the pastoral and extra-curricular life of the school.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised qualification in SEND, SpLD, or EAL.
- Experience in supporting students with specific learning difficulties and English as an additional language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience working with students aged 11 to 18.
- Ability to teach younger pupils.
- Experience in a school or educational setting with a strong pastoral focus.
