Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring drama lessons that develop students’ creativity, confidence, and performance skills.
• Plan and deliver curriculum content that aligns with the school’s high standards and encourages student achievement.
• Support students in developing their artistic and personal growth through drama and performing arts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the drama department and contribute to the wider school community.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them reach their full potential.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practice.
• Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment that reflects the school’s anti-racist values.
• Engage with parents and the wider community to enhance student learning and school engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in drama education.
• Strong knowledge of drama curriculum and teaching methodologies.
• Commitment to student achievement and high academic standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

• Experience teaching drama across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Background in performing arts or related fields.
• Experience in developing and delivering creative and innovative drama lessons.
