Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Biology and Chemistry across all key stages and ability ranges.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
  • Support the development of students’ scientific knowledge and skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Biology and Chemistry.
  • Strong knowledge of Key Stages 3 and 4 National Curriculum and GCSE requirements.
  • Experience in using ICT in teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Experience with teaching a wide range of student abilities.
  • Experience in supporting student progression and achievement in science.
