Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics instruction across all key stages, including GCSE and A-level.
- Create engaging and stimulating learning experiences that make Mathematics relevant and accessible for all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the development of the Mathematics curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Use ICT effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and pastoral care.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and assessment.
- Work closely with administrative staff to ensure smooth operation of the department.
- Stay up to date with current educational research and best practices in Mathematics teaching.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics education.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A-level requirements.
- Proven ability to teach across the full age and ability range.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Preferred
- Experience with ICT in the classroom.
- A track record of successful student outcomes and engagement.
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
- Willingness to take on leadership or mentoring roles within the department.
