The Opportunity:

Join a school's dynamic Primary team as an Early Years Foundation Stage Class Teacher. This role is ideal for passionate educators looking to make a meaningful impact on young learners in a stimulating and international setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and child-centered lessons aligned with the 2014 National Curriculum of England and the 2020 Development Matters Framework.
  • Create and implement individualized learning plans to support the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development and well-being.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to school improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and assess student progress using a range of assessment tools and provide regular feedback to parents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
  • Support the school’s mission to develop well-rounded, bilingual students who are confident, resilient, and independent learners.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Education specialising in Primary / Early Years with QTS or equivalent.
  • Valid teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE in Primary or Early Years education with QTS or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to creating an inspiring and stimulating learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.

Preferred

  • Experience with the Early Career Framework and ECT induction.
  • Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in using technology as a teaching tool.
  • Experience with GL CAT4 and GL Progress tests.
  • Familiarity with BTEC qualifications and international curricula.
