The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced PE Teacher (Primary & Secondary) to join a high-performing school and contribute to the development of a comprehensive physical education program. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student health, wellbeing, and sporting success across all key stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a dynamic and engaging PE curriculum for students from Year 1 to Year 13
  • Lead and support a team of PE teachers across primary and secondary phases
  • Promote physical health, active lifestyles, and wellbeing initiatives throughout the school community
  • Oversee and manage school sports teams and inter-school competitions
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate physical education with broader school objectives
  • Ensure alignment with the UK National Curriculum (PE) and school values
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular sporting and wellbeing activities
  • Support the school's commitment to fostering inclusive, physically active, and globally minded students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related discipline
  • A UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent)
  • Proven experience teaching PE across a range of age groups (KS1 to KS5)
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum (PE)
  • Experience in leading or contributing to school sports teams and inter-school competitions
  • Commitment to student health, wellbeing, and physical development

Preferred

  • Leadership experience in whole school initiatives (e.g., Duke of Edinburgh, Sports Leader Award, Wellbeing programmes)
  • Experience in curriculum development and strategic planning
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Familiarity with UAE culture and values
