As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in shaping the early development of young minds in a warm and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality early years education through a balance of adult-led and child-initiated activities
- Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity and independence
- Support the holistic development of children, including social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Work closely with colleagues to plan and implement engaging and challenging learning experiences
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- Collaborate with parents and carers to support children's learning and well-being
- Participate in professional development and inset training opportunities
- Ensure all health and safety policies are followed at all times
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant early years qualification or experience working in early childhood education
- A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when needed
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting
- Knowledge of early years curricula and best practices
- Experience with child-led learning and play-based pedagogy
- First Aid and paediatric first aid qualifications
