Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality early years education through a balance of adult-led and child-initiated activities
  • Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity and independence
  • Support the holistic development of children, including social, emotional, and cognitive growth
  • Work closely with colleagues to plan and implement engaging and challenging learning experiences
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Collaborate with parents and carers to support children's learning and well-being
  • Participate in professional development and inset training opportunities
  • Ensure all health and safety policies are followed at all times

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant early years qualification or experience working in early childhood education
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when needed
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting
  • Knowledge of early years curricula and best practices
  • Experience with child-led learning and play-based pedagogy
  • First Aid and paediatric first aid qualifications
