Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching staff in delivering high-quality instruction and learning experiences
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with additional needs
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure consistent support for students
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of classroom resources
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

  • Experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies
  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and software
