The Opportunity:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in shaping the early development of young children. You will contribute to a learning environment that prioritizes emotional, cognitive, and physical growth, helping children build the foundation for lifelong success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the holistic development of children from 3 months to 4 years through engaging and stimulating activities.
- Deliver a curriculum based on a 'rhythm of the day' that encourages natural learning and exploration.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Monitor and document children's progress to ensure they are meeting key developmental milestones.
- Work collaboratively with other practitioners to maintain a consistent and nurturing approach to early learning.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the care of the school.
- Participate in staff training and professional development to enhance teaching practices and outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports children's learning and play.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification
- Proven experience working with young children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to child safety and safeguarding
- Ability to work flexibly within a team
Preferred
- Experience in a school or nursery setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development theories
- Experience with the Inspired Education Group or similar institutions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with the 'rhythm of the day' approach to learning
