Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (E.Y.F.S).
- Organise and manage classroom resources to ensure a smooth and engaging learning experience.
- Maintain detailed records and write reports on children’s progress in accordance with school policy.
- Provide a warm, caring, and stimulating environment for children.
- Liaise regularly with parents to support the school's 'Parent Teacher Partnership' initiative.
- Ensure best practice is used in all aspects of Early Years teaching.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
- Encourage child-initiated learning and provide differentiated activities to support all learners.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Level 3 qualification in early years education.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (E.Y.F.S) and child development.
- Experience in planning and delivering engaging early years activities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and parents.
Preferred
- Experience with interactive whiteboard technology and IT systems.
- Experience in writing comprehensive reports on children’s progress.
- Proactive approach to professional development and training.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude towards teaching and learning.
