Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Create a stimulating and safe environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Work closely with parents and other practitioners to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to each child’s progress.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s development and communicate regularly with parents.
- Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere through play, interaction, and personal engagement.
- Support the school’s values and mission by contributing to a relaxed yet focused learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Level 3 full and relevant EYFS qualification.
- Strong understanding of early years education and child development.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
- Positive, nurturing attitude and genuine passion for working with children.
Preferred
- Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
- Confidence in leading and participating in creative and outdoor activities.
- Experience with Performing Arts, Music, or Language teaching.
- Flexibility and willingness to work across a full range of school activities and events.
