Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating and safe environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Work closely with parents and other practitioners to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to each child’s progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s development and communicate regularly with parents.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere through play, interaction, and personal engagement.
  • Support the school’s values and mission by contributing to a relaxed yet focused learning environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Level 3 full and relevant EYFS qualification.
  • Strong understanding of early years education and child development.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
  • Positive, nurturing attitude and genuine passion for working with children.

Preferred

  • Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Confidence in leading and participating in creative and outdoor activities.
  • Experience with Performing Arts, Music, or Language teaching.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work across a full range of school activities and events.
