The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our growing team and help shape a new, world-class early learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the National Curriculum.
  • Assist in implementing activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and early learning skills through structured and child-initiated play.
  • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and encourage active participation.
  • Prepare stimulating and inclusive learning environments, resources, and displays that support children’s development.
  • Support the use of educational technology to enhance engagement and early digital awareness.
  • Adapt activities to support children with diverse learning needs, including those requiring additional assistance or enrichment.
  • Foster a classroom culture rooted in respect, empathy, and high expectations, ensuring every child feels safe and valued.
  • Maintain open communication with parents to support each child’s learning journey and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognised qualification equivalent to UK A-levels.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Cambridge International Curriculum school.
  • Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.

Preferred

  • Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Understanding of EYFS principles and child-centred, play-based learning approaches.
