Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons to students across multiple year groups
  • Develop and implement creative and innovative music curricula aligned with the school’s educational standards
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and expression
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular projects and extracurricular music activities
  • Provide regular feedback to students and parents to support student progress and development
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities offered by the school
  • Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme and community-based events
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in line with the school’s safeguarding policies

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A BEd or bachelor's degree in Music or equivalent PCGE
  • Experience in teaching music at a primary or secondary level
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding learning and teaching
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to the school’s core values of Grow, Flourish & Succeed
  • A UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check

Preferred

  • Experience with British Schools Overseas (BSO) accreditation or similar programmes
  • Experience with the National Curriculum for England or UAE Ministry of Education standards
  • Experience with extra-curricular music activities and community engagement
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL) or similar
