The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Economics and Business Teacher to join our team and inspire students at KS4 and KS5. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young people's education and future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons across KS4, BTEC and A-Level Business and Economics
• Contribute to curriculum development and resource creation aligned with national standards
• Participate in departmental activities, including field trips and enrichment programmes
• Track and support student progress with regular feedback and reporting to parents
• Provide pastoral support as a Form Tutor, promoting positive behaviour and self-discipline

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A good honours degree in Economics, Business or a related discipline
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong knowledge of Economics and Business curriculum requirements and exam specifications
• Excellent organisational and classroom management skills

Preferred

• Experience teaching Economics and Business at KS4 and KS5
• Commitment to personal and professional development
• Experience with curriculum development and resource creation
