The Opportunity:

We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Economics and Business Teacher to join our Humanities Faculty. The role involves teaching Economics IGCSE and A level, with the opportunity to teach Business A level. This is an excellent opportunity for both new and experienced teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to students at IGCSE and A level.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes academic excellence and critical thinking.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized teaching and feedback.
  • Contribute to the school’s wide range of co-curricular activities.
  • Utilize modern technology and facilities to enhance the learning experience.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Humanities Faculty.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
  • Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Economics and Business.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Economics and Business at IGCSE and A level.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students in a dynamic learning environment.
  • Commitment to co-curricular involvement and school activities.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Business A level.
  • Familiarity with 1:1 digital learning environments.
  • Experience working in a co-educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in pastoral or student support roles.
