The Opportunity:
We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Economics and Business Teacher to join our Humanities Faculty. The role involves teaching Economics IGCSE and A level, with the opportunity to teach Business A level. This is an excellent opportunity for both new and experienced teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to students at IGCSE and A level.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes academic excellence and critical thinking.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized teaching and feedback.
- Contribute to the school’s wide range of co-curricular activities.
- Utilize modern technology and facilities to enhance the learning experience.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Humanities Faculty.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
- Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Economics and Business.
- Strong subject knowledge in Economics and Business at IGCSE and A level.
- Ability to inspire and engage students in a dynamic learning environment.
- Commitment to co-curricular involvement and school activities.
- Experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Business A level.
- Familiarity with 1:1 digital learning environments.
- Experience working in a co-educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in pastoral or student support roles.
