Economics and Mathematics Teacher needed for a full-time, permanent role starting September 2026.

The Opportunity:

Join a dynamic team as an Economics and Mathematics Teacher, making a meaningful impact on students aged 11–18. This role requires the ability to teach Economics at A Level and Mathematics at GCSE, with the added advantage of teaching A Level Mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Economics at A Level and Mathematics at GCSE, with the opportunity to teach A Level Mathematics.
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote student progress and achievement.
  • Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and senior leadership.
  • Use ICT and digital platforms to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Support the development of the curriculum and department initiatives.
  • Contribute to co-curricular and enrichment activities in Economics and Mathematics.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with middle and senior management to ensure student attainment and behavior standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Degree in Economics and/or Mathematics
  • Experience teaching GCSE Mathematics
  • Experience teaching A Level Economics
  • Excellent subject knowledge and passion for Economics and Mathematics
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of outstanding classroom practice
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to suit student needs
  • Proficient with the use of ICT in the classroom

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A Level Mathematics
  • Involvement in curriculum design or department initiatives
  • Competence in using digital platforms and online resources
  • Enthusiastic, caring, innovative, and creative approach to teaching
  • Contribution to co-curricular or enrichment activities
