Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging mathematics lessons that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to a diverse range of student abilities.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices in teaching and learning.
- Support student well-being and behaviour, ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in professional development and coaching opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Contribute to school events, extracurricular activities, and community engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in mathematics education.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and the ability to teach across key stages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school’s values, ethos, and vision.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on additional responsibilities when required.
Preferred
- Experience with delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a school setting.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
- Experience with instructional coaching or professional development programmes.
- Experience with supporting student well-being and behaviour management.
Compensation & Benefits:
