The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Economics Teacher to inspire students at A Level and contribute to a dynamic learning environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Economics and committed to using ICT effectively in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Economics at A Level to a motivated cohort of students.
  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that incorporate ICT.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the academic and personal development of students.
  • Contribute to the wider curriculum by teaching additional subjects if possible.
  • Maintain high standards of student assessment and feedback.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Support the school's mission and values within the Catholic tradition.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Economics education and pedagogy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Economics at A Level.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to use ICT effectively in teaching.
  • Commitment to working within a team and supporting student development.
  • Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching more than one subject.
  • Background in a Catholic educational setting.
  • Experience with co-curricular or extracurricular activities.
  • Familiarity with the UK education system and A Level curriculum.
