The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Economics/Business Studies lessons to students across all Key Stages.
  • Develop and implement engaging, interactive, and effective teaching strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement and attainment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s curriculum and teaching standards.
  • Support the school’s vision of fostering a culture of high expectations and excellence.
  • Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and student enrichment programs.
  • Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Economics/Business Studies.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Experience of teaching across Key Stages.
  • Commitment to student achievement and high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on professional development and CPD.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and interactive teaching technologies.
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities or student leadership programs.
